Stop Harming Children

This is too much. Stop it. Stop killing and harming children in their schools. Stop.
Yes, children are killed every day, and not always in schools, and that is always horror. But little girls being killed in their schoolhouse is horror. And that is what happened today and that is the horror I am mourning right now.
What could cause someone to harm children? I fear that the answer lies partly in the harm that someone felt as a child himself. Thus the media’s peculiar fascination with the ‘incident 20 years ago.’ They need an explanation for this; they are unable (as am I) to just hear and be horrified. They/We need to be able to feel we might be able to do something about this in the future, and look to the past to find what to change.
But right now, right now, it’s just horrible.
